I'm glad you did, because after I typed it, it felt so right to say, even though I regretted saying it.

Evangelion doesn't get good until later on really. The first few episodes it is, as you say, your typical mech anime. But later on (especially the last two episodes) it turns into a fairy big mindfuck.

Really, I was getting down to how the game is played, but you are right when it comes to clubs and franchises, something that can be appreciated. I feel like there is a sense of community, but I wouldn't know what the Europe alternative is like. I can say that I can take pride in the fact that the Green Bay Packers are completely different to every other team in the NFL in the fact they are actually owned by the community of fans and not by an owner. Of course, the NFL is a bad example to begin with as alot of people put their fan support towards College and High School football. However, it really does boil down to what we grew up with.

But due to that level of strategic micromanagement, there is no creativity in the game of American Football, no flair. With American Football you don't have clubs, you have franchises. It's far too commercial and capitalistic; there isn't any sense of community like you get with football teams here. I think it's what you grew up with in the end, anyway.

The blog is looking good Wes, best of luck with it.
